• The rain forest we chose is the Amazon
  Rainforest.

Important Facts

• In the rain forest of South America scientists
  have counted as many as 280 species in one two
  and a half-acre(1-hectare)area. Rain forests
  contain a huge variety of other plants, too.
  Wherever light reaches the forest floor, an
  exotic layer of herbs and ferns flourishes.

Comparison

• The things that are the same about Trenton New
  Jersey and the Amazon Rain Forest are we both
  have rain. We both have houses. We both have
  people. We both have animals. We both have trees.
  What is different is that they dont ware much
  clothes and we do. They only have one season and
  we have four seasons. They put on plaits on their
  mouths and we dont. We have electricity and they
  dont.

• In the rain forest of South America scientists

  a variety of other plants. Most rain forest
  leaves are thick and waxy. The lush vegetation of
  the rain forest is home to millions of different
  insects and other creepy crawlies. The plants and
  insects of the rain forest provide thousands of
  different animals with food to eat. Lizards,
  Giant, Red Orangutans, bats, hummingbirds, and
  sloths are some of the animals that live there.
