How Does the WSAC Work?
Following Air Stream Through WSAC Unit 1. Air
enters vertically downward into bundle section 2.
Recirculated spraywater introduced above tube
bundle. 3. Heat from inside tube flows through
tube to water film then to air stream via
evaporation 4. Water falls to bottom of unit, air
turns to enter plenum (free drift removal) 5. Air
stream bends to enter plenum chamber (minimal
drift) 6. Hot, humid air exhausted to atmosphere
at high velocity.
