Purpose of the JWCA Process
JROC established JWCA process to conduct
assessments to provide advice to the CJCS on
critical joint warfighting issues
  • Appraise joint warfighting capability areas
    analyze critical deficiencies and strengths
  • Recommend opportunities to improve joint
    warfighting capabilities.
  • Facilitate JROC/CC discussions on joint
    warfighting issues.
  • Provide analytic foundation for JROC
    recommendations to the CJCS.
  • Primary mechanism for development of the CJCS
    Title X advice to the SECDEF CPR / CPA
