  • To Influence the thoughts and behaviour of
    others in a deliberate direction in order to
    achieve a desired objective
  • Informal Definition
  • To turn a group of individuals into a team that
    can achieve something they could not on their
    own.

Qualities of an NCO
  • Some list can run in to over 140 different
    qualities.
  • TASK
  • Take 30 seconds to think of a quality that a
    leader may exhibit. Think of a leader and what
    qualities they have.

  • Some believe that an leader is defined by what
    they know.
  • The most appropriate person has the most
    professional knowledge, abilities and skills.
  • However a good leader will exhibit both good
    qualites and the afore mentioned knowledge and
    skills.
