8- Globe Malaria Objectives
- To make students aware of causes, prevention and
life cycle of malaria - To develop a protocol for identifying between
anopheline and non anopheline mosquitoes - To develop partnership between public health
professionals and GLOBE schools in Mcar
9- The project scope
- At local level because malaria is a local
problem - At National level for the needs of the MENRS and
Ministry of Health - At Regional level in order to develop a regional
sciences specific study - At International level to partnership.
10- Expected results
- There will be
- Increased student and community knowledge about
global climate change/human activity impact and
malaria resurgence. - Collection of data on mosquitoe larval population
in potential breeding habitats and water quality
and meteorogical metadata - Data collection on malaria cases in regional
health care centers
