Physical Activity

• Active Rutland a new initiative set to offer
  new and exciting opportunities for adults 50 to
  participate in physical activity.
• Over 50s week 6th-12th October
• Making use of facilities across Rutland such as
  village halls and community centres. (Audit forms
  sent via Parish Councils/Clerks)
• Monitoring forms Questionnaires/surveys
• Quarterly reports to Sport England

• GP Referral programme Developing a Scheme with
  GPs and LCRPCT.
• Designing a system for evaluating and monitoring

Volunteering

• As Part of Active Rutland initiative
• Working with VAR and posting opportunities on
  their database
• Working with LSA raising awareness and
  understanding of Volunteering within clubs.
• Special Olympics at Rutland Water. Creating a
  link and sign posting to Lynn Senior (Volunteer
  Director SOGB)
