National Emergency Management Assistance Compact
  • Compact with all other EMAC states and

  • Purpose
  • Can provide assistance in advance of Federal
    Declaration
  • Automate Mutual assistance between EMAC States
  • Provides for equipment

  • Any aspect of the giving and receiving of aid by
    party states
  • Temporary suspension of conflicting laws
  • Includes
  • National Guard and other state forces
  • Healthcare providers

  • Must be a declared emergency by the governor
