The objective
  • Form partnerships between participating NGOs
  • Encourage cooperation and exchange of valuable
    information and experiences
  • Transfer expertise and know-how in proposal
    writing
  • Apply knowledge acquired during trainings
  • Draft concrete project proposals working in small
    groups
  • Submit integrated project proposals for funding

  • The activity begun in summer 2005 with the
    participation of 35 NGOs
  • Submission of ideas
  • Selection of 11 concept papers
  • Formation of 11 small groups
  • Development of project proposals with the
    assistance of an international expert
  • Finalization of proposals now ready for funding
  • Average duration of each project 1 to 2 years
  • Average budget of each project 100,000 euros
    (7,200,000 Pak rupees)

  • Title Women Participation in the Electoral
    Process in Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab and NWFP
  • Aim Enhance womens participation in the
    electoral process and increase womens awareness
    regarding their rights and potential
  • Objectives To register women in order to get a
    National Identity Card and be included both in
    the voter list and as candidates
