14Effectiveness of a Network
- The effectiveness of a network, both in its
ability to fulfill its own mandate, and in its
ability to influence the government policy
process, is directly linked to its governance
structures, chosen methods of advocacy and
credibility. - Strategies for influencing public policy tend to
fall under three key categories lobbying, public
education and advocacy
