Using we and us with Nouns
  • Occasionally you may need to use the pronoun we
    or us with a noun for identification or special
    emphasis.
  • The dancers want music, but we readers want
    silence.
  • The dancers wont let us readers have peace.

Using we and us with Nouns
  • If you are using we or us with a noun, use the
    pronoun case you would use if the noun were not
    there.
  • With a subject or a predicate pronoun, use the
    nominative case.
  • With a direct or indirect object, or with the
    object of a preposition, use the objective case.
  • Nominative- We girls will sing soon.
  • Objective- You should join us altos in the back
    row.
