What can we do?
  • Operation Noah
  • CEL/CTBI
  • Sign the Climate Covenant
  • Cut the Carbon
  • Spread the word

12
2. Cut the Carbon (1)
  • 1. Switch to green electricity
  • One phone call
  • Get estimate of costs from uswitch.com
  • If you go for Good Energy or Green Energy,
Operation Noah will get 7 commission to help us
    finance the campaign
  • Do try and switch to one of the greenest
suppliers e.g. Good Energy, Green Energy,
    Ecotricity

13
2. Cut the Carbon (2)
2. Avoid air travel Flying is the most polluting
form of transport. One long haul trip uses up a
persons entire annual fair share of carbon
emissions. 3. Tell your MP Write to your MP, tell
them that you have signed the Climate Covenant
with Operation Noah and ask them what he or she
is doing to avert dangerous climate change.
14
3. Spread the word Operation Noah has
everything you need
  • Video/DVD
  • Talks and power point presentation
  • Sample services
  • Drama sketch
  • Magazine articles
  • Leaflets please take some today
  • www.operationnoah.org
