• Every country takes pride in their countries
  flag. Our class talked a bit about how flags
  could be described in fractions before we began a
  project to share our understanding of fractions
  visually.
• Students used the concept of flags to display
  their understanding of fractions being parts of a
  whole as they divided the colours used in their
  flag.
