Brief History

• In 1956, in a small village of Evia island called
  Politika, Antonis Souliotis founded a
  ready-to-eat meals family business. At that
  time, the companys specialties were vine leaves
  stuffed with rice and baked giant beans in tomato
  sauce.
• Later, his sons Kostas and Vassilis transformed
  the company from a small family business into the
  Greek leading company of ready-to-eat meals.
• In 1989, begins the construction of the new
  modern factory which was completed in 1992 and is
  fully operational since then.
• In 1995, Palirria is the first ready-to-eat meals
  company in Greece that is certified with ISO and
  later acquires the HACCP , BRC and IFS
  certificates
• In 2000, Palirria Bulgaria L.T.D. a subsidiary
  company was founded.
• In 2008, Palgreen Food Industries a subsidiary
  company in China was founded
• Persistence in quality at all levels, traditional
  recipes, constant innovation and the use of the
  most advanced technological equipment, have been
  the secret to success.
