why is this a good choice for our rain garden?
This is an ideal choice for our rain garden
because its salt tolerant, strong enough to be
near roads, it can survive in infertile soil, and
in the winter, and it changes pretty colors, so
it is nice looking. Also, its a Vermont native,
so it wont be an invasive species. It likes
shade, but not actually, so its placement near
the woods, but actually in the sun, would be
fabulous.

why is this a good choice for our rain garden?
This is a splendid choice for our rain garden
because it is beautiful! So people will like to
look at and its perennial and will come back
yearly with little maintenance. In addition, it
does not mind salt, enjoys sandy soil
(alliteration!), and will attract hummingbirds.
Butterflies and moths! Its Vermont native, so it
wont kill other plants, and it enjoys partial
shade.

why is this a good choice for our rain garden?
Its a beautiful, vibrant flower that will not
only attract people to our garden, but it also
attracts wildlife, its low maintenance. Since
the pollinators are butterflies and moths, this
flower will bring so much beauty to the garden.
If this flower was kept in a dryer part of the
garden, it would work.
