Fans and Pumps
  • Fans provide the motive force to move air against
    the resistance of an air-conveying system.
  • Pumps provide the motive force to move liquids
    against the resistance of a piping system and
    against changes in elevation.
  • Both use electric motors and drives.

  • Check and adjust belt drives regularly.
  • Correct excess fan noise and vibration.
  • Clean and lubricate fan components.
  • Clean or replace air filters regularly.
