AIM to introduce with global ecological
problems.
  • Tasks
  • To determine the main problems.
  • To show different ways of solving the ecological
    problems.
  • To give advices for keeping our environment
    clean.

Our Nature
  • Better to give than to take
  • Gratitude is a sign of noble souls.
  • Aesop
  • If you dont think about the future you will not
    have it.

5
Introduction
  • Our Earth is a beautiful home for living
beings, common for all the humanity forever.
  • When people pursue great profits, they often
act unwisely- destroy nature, pollute the
environment. The poisoning of air, land and
oceans is the fastest spreading disease of
    civilization.

6
  • Ecological problems become very pressing, the
    subject of many scientific meetings.

The water system.
OCEANS
  • The oceans do not belong to a single nation, but
are free, open territory to be enjoyed and
shared. However, too often nations are very
aggressive in taking the resources the ocean have
to offer. A tragic result has been the systematic
hunting of whales for whalebone, blubber, and
    oil.
  • There is a widespread pollution and a disruption
of our costal waters, whales, dolphins, penguins
are hunted to near extinction , and many fishing
    areas are being depleted.
  • Also, the tuna-industry has put the dolphin
population at risk and onto the endangered
species list. In the past 30 years the
tuna-fishing industry has killed more than 6
    million dolphins.

10
Dumping of wastes from tankers into the high sea,
dumping of the oil refining and chemical
industry wastes into rivers and lakes is made
secretly.
11
  • Forests are natural recycles, providers and
protectors of our planet, they support the
    ecosystem in the world.
  • Deforestation is endangering this ecosystem, and
could cause at least one-fourth of all species on
Earth to vanish in the next 25 years. Burning
forests releases carbon and decreases oxygen in
the atmosphere, causing the global warming.

12
Orenburg and the Orenburg region
13
Air pollution of the region
  • The basic sources of pollution of atmosphere in
    Orenburg are the
  • enterprises of a gas industry, oil refining,
    mechanical engineering, power system,
  • automobile and a railway transportation.

14
The Red Book of the Orenburg region
  • According to the Law of the Russian Federation
"About protection of a surrounding environment",
for protection of kinds of rare or being under
the threat of disappearance animals and plants
the organization of scientific researches and
tracking their condition, working out and
realization of special measures on preservation
and restoration of these kinds is founded the Red
book of the Russian Federation and Red books of
    subjects of the Russian Federation.

15
  • Less then 1 of insects, about 25 of
vertebrates are brought into the Red book of the
Orenburg region. The greatest share from total
number among vertebrates makes rare species of
reptiles - 41,7 . The number of the Red book
kinds of other groups lies in a range from 12,2
    (mammals) to 22,2 (amphibian).

Groups The quantity of classes Brought into the Red Book
Mammal 82 10
Birds 280 51
Reptiles 12 5
Amphibians 9 2
Fish 60 10
Insects more then 10000 31
16
How should we help the Earth?
  • Protecting all forests and the absence of a
trespassing into water systems processes is the
key to the survival on this planet.
  • Formation of cleansing structures (air, water).
  • To economize electric power and water.
  • To keep our environment clean dont rubbish, to
    care about plants and animals.

17
The Mother - Nature
  • What is the nature in my understanding? It is the
centre of a life, that fills it with its breath.
After all the nature breathes and learns a person
to breathe together with it. The nature is
possible to be named as mostly making the world
and the person. In the nature he can find all
feelings which are necessary for him the
calmness proceeding from dew on a sleeping leave
and from mysterious wood hills, turning pink on a
sunset, love... It's hard to consider all the
advantages of the nature. People should become
advantages of the mother-nature, and it will
forgive them by all means and will transform
their life into a harmony stream - harmony
between the nature and a person.

18
  • The Earth is our home. To save the planet is a
    persons responsibility.
