2Reflexive Pronouns
Reflexive Pronouns are used when the subject and
the object of a clause refer to the same
person/thing.
We can also use them to emphasize who does the
action.
For example
He bought a car for himself. I did it myself!
3Reflexive Pronouns act as objects, not subjects.
Jorge was hungry. So, he made a cake himself.

Tag questions are short questions that are added
in the end of an affirmative or negative sentence.
- You are Irish, arent you?
- They live in Britain, dont they?
- Susan havent lived in Toronto, has she?
- Brazil is the richest country of South America,
isnt it?

Falling intonation
That soup is amazing, isnt it?

Rising intonation
The concert is on Friday, isnt it?
8Keep in mind that
In the Present, if the subject is I, the
auxiliary changes to are or arent.
- Im sleeping too much nowadays, arent I?
With Lets, the question tag is shall we?.
- Lets go to the movies, shall we?
With sentences with negative words like never
and nobody, we use a positive question tag.
- Marcos never makes his bed, does he?
