  • Employees
  • SaskTel employees carry out and perform a wide
    variety of services and functions. In doing so,
    they are expected to exhibit SaskTel's values as
    well as the utmost of honesty, objectivity, care
    and responsibility. SaskTels Code of Business
    Conduct is intended to provide both general and
    specific guidelines to protect and guide SaskTel
    Personnel faced with ethical, moral and legal
    circumstances during the course of their
    employment.
  • Name and Reputation
  • SaskTel has a respected name and a good
    reputation. These are priceless assets. SaskTel
    builds and protects its name and reputation by
    adhering to the highest standard of ethical
    conduct. The corporation does everything possible
    to protect these standards. It trusts the
    fundamental honesty of its employees to meet the
    corporation's high ethical standards in
    everything done on its behalf. It also asks you
    to report, through appropriate channels, any
    individual's unethical conduct that may affect
    SaskTel. The purpose of this Code of Business
    Conduct is to help employees to fulfil this
    responsibility.

SaskTels Code of Conduct
  • Dress Code
  • All SaskTel employees are required to present
    themselves in a professional and courteous
    manner. Therefore, all employees are required to
    dress in business attire, with a particular
    emphasis on those dealing directly with the
    public and in Head Office. Most other areas
    require business casual attire at a minimum.
  • Honesty
  • Honesty with time means a fair day's work for a
    fair day's pay, keeping absences to a minimum,
    reporting to work on time, staying with the work
    on hand, and restricting personal telephone calls
    and all other personal activity.
  • Illegal Drugs and Alcohol
  • SaskTel does not tolerate the use, distribution,
    sale, or possession of illegal drugs or alcohol
    on its premises or in its vehicles. Employees are
    not permitted to work or report to work when
    under the influence of alcohol or any illegal
    drugs. At all times, employees are prohibited
    from operating SaskTel vehicles after consuming
    alcohol. Driving SaskTel vehicles after consuming
    alcohol will not be tolerated under any
    circumstances
