  • Use email, telephone, meetings.
  • Posters etc only go so far.
  • Feed info to CE via SfL Champion.
  • Invite Leader and PAs to events even if he
    cant attend.
  • Brief PAs on achievements.
  • Sneak in to see CE to discuss his specific role
    at events!

SfL Programme
  • Design any training to meet operational needs
    e.g. time of day (Waste)
  • Tailor training for operational issues e.g.
    employability (Care Homes)
  • Ensure that programme picks up added extras
    e.g. ICT, Dyslexia etc.
  • Keeps managers on-side and supportive.
  • Be clear about what programme will not/cannot do.
