Universal Application System (UAS)
  • a web-based interagency application process
  • designed to help families apply for multiple
    programs services online
  • currently available in English Spanish

  • Application Process The upfront information
    provided by a client who is seeking assistance --
    This is
    accomplished via the UAS
  • Eligibility Process The sifting process used to
    determine whether a client (and his/her
    application) meets the financial or service need
    requirements to receive benefits or services from
    that agency --This is not accomplished via the UAS

When the intake worker clicks on the Inbox link,
a list of their unarchived applications will be
displayed, similar to an email account. It will
be sorted by whether the caseworker has
opened/viewed the app. and the date it was
submitted. The intake worker can resort the
apps. by applicant, date submitted, status or
application.
