TODAYS MESSAGE
THE CHRISTIAN MMS
II CORINTHIANS 518-21
2
WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION
All this is from God, who reconciled us to
himself through Christ and gave us the ministry
of reconciliation II Cor. 18
1. All this is from God
2. We are reconciled to God through Christ
3. We now have the ministry of reconciliation
3
WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE MESSAGE OF RECONCILIATION
that God was reconciling the world to himself
in Christ, not counting men's sins against them.
And he has committed to us the message of
reconciliation. II Cor. 519
1. God desires peace with men
2. God has committed His message to us to
share with men
4
OUR MINISTRY AND MESSAGE MAKES US AMBASSADORS
We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though
God were making his appeal through us. We implore
you on Christ's behalf Be reconciled to God.

II Cor. 520
1. God appeals through us as ambassadors
2. We appeal to men on Christs behalf to be
reconciled
5
HOW MEN ARE RECONCILED TO GOD
1. God has made a way for men to become
righteous
For just as through the disobedience of the one
man the many were made sinners, so also through
the obedience of the one man the many will be
made righteous . Rom. 519

2. God has made a way for men to become
as righteous as He is
6
THE THREE IMPUTATIONS
Adams Sin to the world
For since death came through a man, the
resurrection of the dead comes also through a
man. 22 For as in Adam all die
I
Cor. 1521,22
7
The Worlds Sin to Jesus
We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us
has turned to his own way and the LORD has laid
on him the iniquity of us all. Is. 536
8
Jesus Righteousness to Us
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us,
so that in him we might become the righteousness
of God. II Cor. 521
