calculator
Press Y to enter an equation. Your button for
variables says
Press the GRAPH button to see your graph.
You may need to resize your viewing window. The
next few slides will walk you through entering
equations and resizing the window.
Enter your equation.
2Press Y and enter your equation.
If your graph looks different, you need to reset
your window. Push Zoom and choose Zstandard
(choice 6)
Push GRAPH
Remember Zoom 6 resets your window to the
default.
3To graph an inequality, you follow the same steps
as the previous screen. When you are in the Y
screen, use the arrow keys to move yourself to
the left of Y1.
This is gt. If you want lt, push the ENTER key one
more time. Now push GRAPH.
If you push the ENTER key twice, an upper
triangle will flash.
4To graph an implicit equation, you must first
solve for y to create an explicit equation.
Now you Press Y and enter it into your
calculator. Note the ( )
5Go right 1 to NUM
Enter the rest of the equation. Use a ) to close
the absolute value.
Press Y
Now press MATH
Choose abs( (choice1)
GRAPH
6GRAPH
Press Y, MATH, and go right 1 to NUM.
To get the proper appearance, push MODE and
change Connected to Dot
Take choice 5 int( (Think of the greatest integer
function) and enter the rest of the equation.
