Winding Path
Gossip flutters past the ears of humanity Never
to make any impression What one thinks is fact
the other thinks fiction However truth is hard to
hear among this rumor But society ends here,
where fact meets fiction to bring out the
truth Our world will surely crumble if not for
the child of the couple on the road And we are
now saved from what would be our ultimate end
Walking along the winding path of life They
crossed paths and met in the fork in the
road Joyfully arm in arm, making memories Four
years went by, until they finally tied the
knot So happy they became, walking side by side
on the winding path of life
The baby describes of a time far gone from
reality No more life to breath into society The
actions of today harden his time into a world
unknown Only the need to change for the
better And the little couple on the road was
saved by the miracle created
Screams and cries from the infant now
arrived Only knowing Mothers calming voice The
father fights and yells, but the mother cannot
hear him now And when she cant, he speaks to her
in oh so clear words The baby of time slowly
explains his place on this path His journey far
from over, slowly explaining the ways of time
Praise and thanks to the babe who ended it all He
now walks beside the couple on the path of
life Only to warn of its rocky grounds and
bends And his triumphant strides grace the
presence of the world around him Yet he still
walks on the path between them
