Gen2 SupIRBuck Family
The second generation of SupIRBuck family of
integrated point-of-load (POL) voltage regulators
features IRs latest advantages in control IC,
MOSFETs and package integration technologies to
deliver up to 12A output current in a
low-profile, thermally enhanced 5x6 mm Power-QFN
package. The four Gen2 devices, IR3831MTRPbF,
IR3840MTRPbF, IR3841MTRPbF and IR3842MTRPbF are
fully featured for server, storage, Netcom and
telecom applications and are designed to offer
benchmark efficiency over the entire load range
and a very high switching frequency for
significant overall system size reduction. While
optimized for 12V input voltage, superior
efficiencies are also achieved in applications
with 9.6V, 5V or 3.3V input voltages. Moreover,
the devices common scalable footprint offer a
high level of flexibility for easy on board
implementation.
