    your describing).
  • Example Not yellow hair, but short yellow
    hair, made of yarn, covers its ears but is
    parted above the eyes.

  • Use vivid vocabulary (strong nouns, verbs, and
    adjectives).
  • Example its broad grin disappears into the
    wide, white ruffle
  • Include details that relate to your five senses.
  • Example It had peanut butter frosting which
    melted in your mouth.
