  trebui sa înceapa printr-un periaj de doua ori pe
  zi, folosirea atei dentare si a apei de gura, în
  mod obligatoriu.
• Persoanele în vârsta, dar si cei care au spatii
  mari între dinti, vor trebui sa foloseasca
  periute interdentare.
• Doar dentistul foloseste instrumente profesionale
  pentru a îndeparta placa bacteriana si calculul
  din jurul dintilor si sub linia gingiei.

Prognosis

  measuring stick that is gently placed into the
  space between gums and teeth, and slipped below
  the gum line.
• If there is a pocket which is deeper than 3 mm
  around the tooth, home care will not be
  sufficient to cleanse it, and professional care
  should be sought.
• When the pocket depths reach 5-7mm, even the
  dentists instruments cannot reach deeply enough
  to clean out the bacterial palque.
