• Debriefing Meeting

Schedule

• Debriefing sessions are typically held 1 2 days
  after the evaluation.
• The supervisor will schedule this meeting during
  a mutually convenient time.
• Sometimes it will be the same meeting as the
  preplanning meeting.

  held?
• Do you know where it will be held?

Preparing for the Meeting

• The lead clinician should be ready with the
  following
• All tests scored
• Language sample analyzed
• Information put into an outline form based on the
  report template

Presentation of the Information

• Lead clinician should have information organized
  and written down for him/herself, but does not
  have to have pass out any written summaries to
  team
• The information should be presented according to
  the report template organization
• Put priority areas (i.e., the chief concerns)
  first

Recommendations

• Be prepared to discuss recommendations per report
  template suggestions.
• Begin to look up resources for families if
  appropriate.
