of His Jewish background. Experience Jesus as a
seminary trained, Hebrew speaking rabbi, followed
and well loved by the true worshiping Jews of
Israel. But He was hated by the Gentile
    controlled, apostate priesthood and religious
leaders. The two could not co-exist in
    Israelthus, His crucifixion.

Committed and Going Strong
  • After pastoring for nearly 50 years, our
Servant/Director, Bob Ross, was called in August
04 to leave the Prairie Creek Baptist pulpit in
Plano, TX, to minister full-time and help enhance
the mission work that he and his church had
developed over 29 years. Involving Christians in
hands on mission opportunities is his heart
    desire.
  • God has given Bob a deep love for Israel, Gods
Land, the Jewish people, and most of allthe
    Jewishness of our Lord Jesus.
  • He sees Christians come alive when they
experience Israel and meet the Jewish Jesus.
Lives change when folks leave their old
traditional existence for new life in
Christ. The encounter brings renewed, and
exciting Biblical study, and challenges to one to
walk daily with the Living Lord Jesus. Lives are
    changed!

Gods Land Israel
  • Bob and Barb lived and served in The Land in
    59-60.
  • Their oldest son, Randy, was born in Nazaretha
    sobra.
  • Israel has been our directors study hobby for
    over 50 years.
  • Bob has led 28 study tours to The Land, recently
    twice a year.
  • He has developed seminars on the Land of Israel
    and her history.
  • He developed and taught the Discover Israel
Seminar all over the Southwest, and several
    foreign countries.
  • Presently, he teaches seminars in churches,
    colleges, and seminaries.
  • Bob is filming The Jewishness of Jesus Seminar
for public availability. Web subscriptions and
    e-chapters will be available.
  • His collection of over 50,000 slides, pictures,
digitals photos, and streaming video, help
    illustrate his teachings, and writing.

MissionAlaska
  • First Alaska Mission 1970a Bible Conference in
    Anchorage.
  • Bob and Barb have taken teams to build churches,
    pastoriums, and schools inJuneau, Ketchikan,
Prince of Wales Island, Palmer, Anchorage,
Soldotna, Seward, and Seldovia in Kenai.
  • 25 missions teams in 38 years.
  • Note He calls this mission work missions
lite, since many want to visit, see Alaska, and
    fish for salmon or halibut.
  • Their mission trips are 8-10 days costing under
    2,000. per person.
  • The construction teams work hard helping churches
    from
  • 8 AM- 430 PM and then,
  • Eat, relax, hike, or fish till mid-night.
  • Participants are fulfilled by the hands on
mission work, to help Alaska churches. Those
going save over 4,000, compared to Alaska
    fishing trips of 8-10 days.
  • Most get hooked on missions, thus, we call this
    program
  • Missions Lite.

8
MissionYucatan, and Beyond
  • In 1989, Bob and Barb had planned to vacation in
Cancun, but God spoke to their hearts about
    mission work in the Yucatan.
  • God led, and they followed
  • They began working with the First Baptist Church
of Merida doing evangelism. Most trips, they
would see 350 come to Jesus, through the Jesus
Film in Spanish. But, there was little
    follow-up.
  • So, they helped begin a seminary with First
Baptist of Merida. Dr. Harlan Capps came as
president in 96, with Faith Baptist Missions.
We joined him in the ministry and vision for the
Yucatan. In those early days, Prairie Creek,
Plano, and Bob were the key participants in the
    seminary work.
  • Small seminaries were planted in Merida,
Campeche, Cancun, Vallodalid, Tobasco in Mexico,
    and Havana, Cuba.
  • Ten years ago there were about 200 Evangelical
churches in the Yucatan. Today there are over
    400 churches. Praise God!

9
MissionCommunist Romania
  • Bob and Barbara arrived in Communist Bucharest,
Romania 12 hours before Chernobyl blew up on
    April 26, 1986.
  • In 86 they taught and preached in Bucharest,
Caransebes, Timisoara, Arad and Oradea. Before
the overthrow of Communism. They returned three
more times to assist the suffering East Europe
nation. Because of the threats and dangers, only
five churches were ministering to Romania in
    those days.
  • There were 2,100 Evangelical churches, with 140
pastors, and an underground seminary. On return
trips, Bob taught there, The School of the
Prophets, in Timisoara, Arad, and Oradea.
  • Thousands came to know Jesus. Churches were
packed and the Communist did not know how to
    control the revival.
  • Bob and Barb ministered with Second Baptist
Church in those days. The church faced on-going
    Communist persecution, but experienced constant
    Revival.

10
Freedom in Romania
  • Christmas Eve 1989 Nicolae Ceausescu was killed
by his own people, and Romania became free for
the first time in 40 years.
  • God raised up Emanuel Baptist Church (from the
brave Second Baptist Church) to build for 3,600
people. They led in beginning the Emanuel Baptist
Seminary and publishing company in Oradea. Today
both church and seminary are the largest
Evangelical ministries in all Europe. What a joy
to have been a part of prayer and support for
this ministry, during their days of struggle and
    hardship.
  • When freedom camehundreds of American churches
rushed to experience the Oradea revival. Being
a pastor of a smaller church, Bob moved
eastward, to assist a new work in Tirgu Mures,
    with Pastor Vasile Paul1994.
  • Working with the mother church in Targu Mures,
today 31 village missions and churches surround
the city. Our ministry has helped to support
this growing ministry for 15 years, building the
mother church, village churches, and supporting
    pastors.

11
MissionBulgaria
  • Under Bulgarian Communism, the United Churches of
God, in Sofia became the umbrella for all the
Evangelical work in the country. This work is
    led by Bishop Vasil Elenkov.
  • We joined him in ministry in the fall of 06 and
taught on the Jewishness of Jesus for his church,
and seminary students. What an incredible
adventure! Since then, our ministry has assisted
that seminary in training pastors for Bulgaria,
parts of Eastern Europe, Macedonia, and even
    Turkey (where Paul ministered).
  • We will continue to support the seminary, and
assist Evangelical churches begun by the
    graduates of the seminary.
  • We invite you
  • Come over into Macedonia and help us.

12
MissionSeminary Training inCommunist Cuba
  • In February 04, our director went to Cuba, with
the purpose of working with Christians on that
    Communist island.
  • Bob works with two committed pastors, who have a
vision for the entire island of Cuba, and beyond.
Cuba is 400 miles long, and about 50 miles wide.
It is home to 11 million (most of Catholic
background), with an incredible hunger for the
    Gospel.
  • He discovered an urgent need for formal training
of pastors and missionaries (house church
pastors). Bob encouraged Dr. Harlan Capps, to
establish a Havana seminary, as an extension of
    the Faith Baptist seminary system.
  • Today there are 51 students, and 14 professors in
Havana plus, two eastern Cuba extensions. Three
    more are planned for 2009.
  • Our ministry carries half the support of the
    seminary in Havana.
  • In 4 years, 20 house churches have been started
    by students.

13
Medicine for Cuba
  • Our ministry helps to support Bread of Life
ministry, which is directed by a wonderful single
lady, Eliana. She catalogues prescriptions, and
medical needs for members of over 800 Cuban
Evangelical churches, in her lap-top computer.
We help collect medical supplies and medicines,
which she distributes from her small apartment,
by couriers, to all parts of Cuba. We assist
her, and her medical work financially and take in
    medical supplies for distribution. Medical
    donations are most welcome.

Baptist Pastors and Missionaries Starting Cuban
House Churches
  • We assist Pastor, Miguel Romero, who coordinates
pastors and missionaries, for Baptist work
    throughout Cuba.
  • In 2008 we helped support and train 40
    missionaries, and 10 area coordinator/leaders.
These missionaries are beginning house churches
in all parts of Cuba in 2009.
  • With no consistent public transportation, these
pastors often walk 5-10 miles, to minister to
their house churches. Our ministry has sent in
money for 20 bicycles (110. each).
  • Note Most young pastors and missionaries have
less than 10 per month income for their
families, their church work, food, travel, and
other needs. US/Cuba relationships only allows
limited financial aid, but this we do.
  • All seminary students in Havana, and Pinar del
Rio are required to start house churches. God is
    moving in incredible ways.

15
Pure Water for Our World
  • Working closely with Michael van Hoye (engineer
and expert in water purification) we are
developing systems both for homes, house
    churches, and systems for communities.
  • We have taken over 400 home/house church systems
into Cuba, and another 100 into the Yucatan.
  • The cost of these water purifications is as
    follows
  • 100 supplies 99 pure water, for 50 people
    daily, for 3 years.
  • Translation one penny per week, for one person.
  • What an incredible missions investment for
    Eternity!
  • Michael van Hoye, with the University of Texas,
Edinburg, is developing a new design in water
filters for greater production. These new
filters will be available in the spring of 2010,
and will be available missions, and communities
    around the world.
