    numeracy
  • 1745 people took part in Community Based Adult
    Learning
  • 822 people received individual guidance to
    progress into learning, employment, volunteering
    or training
  • 637 increased their English Language

NEED FOR A MORE ROBUSTEVIDENCING OF PREVENTION
A cycle of deprivation and low aspiration has
been allowed to persist because preventative
measures have not been prioritised. It is
estimated that as much as 40 per cent of all
spending on public services is accounted for by
interventions that could have been avoided by
prioritising a preventative approach.

EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT PREVENTION WELLBEING
Studies of learners with a history of mental
health difficulties report participation has
positive effects on mental health. (McGivney
1997) I wouldnt communicate with anybody or
go any place. I wouldnt even go to the shops
myself in case I got the change wrong, I was cut
off from everything.
