Guidelines for a Conclusion

• The end of an essay should be the easiest
  part, however
• What should you NOT do?
• Do not write anything new
• - conclude on what you have
  written
• Do not just give your own opinion
• - your essay is based on more than
  this

• What SHOULD you do? Give an overview while
  relating back to the words in the essay
  title/question.
• Summarise the main points - what are the most
  important issues you have raised?
• Pick up on any concepts you raised in your
  introduction - this serves to tie up your essay

Remember.relate back to the words in the essay
title/question.
