Dont respect someone for making a promise.
Respect them for keeping it.
A student charter is like a list of promises.
Work in small groups to come up with a list of
promises you would like to keep to ensure you do
really well at History in Year 7. The teacher
will come around with a charter for you to keep
at the end of the task. Tick off the ones you
have got on your sheet. Add any really good
examples not on the list to the bottom of the
teachers charter. ? Do you know of any other
famous charters in History. Write down examples
and explain your reasons for calling these
charters
