Cell Theory

• All living things are composed of one or more
  cells
• The smallest living organisms are single cells,
  cells are the functional units of multicellular
  organisms.
• All cells come from pre-existing cells.

• All cells are enclosed by a cell membrane known
  as a plasma membrane
• Separates cells contents from the environment
• Regulates the flow of materials in and out of the
  cell, nutrients in, waste out
• Cell membrane controls interactions between cells

• Contain Ribosomes
• Made up of Proteins, Lipids, Carbohydrates and
  Nucleotides
• Obtain energy and nutrients from the environment
