• Called latitude and longitude
• There are three types

• These imaginary lines run horizontally or
  vertically
• Latitude lines run horizontally from east to
  west.
• Longitude lines run vertically, north to south.

• There are degrees appointed to the lines.
• The degrees are numbers that help pilots and
  ships captain navigate across the sky and ocean
  without getting lost.
• These numbers tell us a specific location.
