unable to stand by her own, altered sensorium,
flaccid, hypotonic, Speaking in Hindi, repetitive
talk
. A tribal Marathi speaking not acquainted with
Hindi She was given coconut water by stranger
She took it like PRASAD
No memory thereafter.
Unconsciousness for few hours Found
herself robbed. Found and taken
to police station.

CNS Responding to oral commands
Not oriented to person, time and

Hindi language Suspicion of being of
poisoned Hypotonic, Flaccidity.
Reflexes Normal Pupils-

Dhatura Toxicology
Most commonly used for poisoning as it grows in
waste places all Over the India. Alkaloid of
Dhatura powerfully stimulate the higher centers
of the brain and exercise a paralyzing action on
various nerves. Initial stimulation of various
centers is followed by depression.
ROAD POISON Grows on its own so easily accessible
and cheap It can be mixed with food and drink It
does not change the odor or taste Used mainly to
dope travelers and people at pilgrimage for the
purpose of robbery Patient is generally found in
police station
