- The circulatory system uses your heart and blood
vessels to carry oxygen and nutrients to parts of
your body.

- Your heart pumps all the time and moves your
blood to clean and feed your cells.

- Blood vessels that carry oxygen away from the
heart to the body cells are called arteries.
(RED) - Blood vessels that carry carbon dioxide in blood
to the heart are called veins. (BLUE) - Blood vessels that that let the fresh supplies
leave the blood and enter the body are called
capillaries. They connect the veins and arteries.

- Your brain is the boss of your body! It runs the
show and controls just about everything you do! - The brain is most important part of the nervous
system. The parts of the nervous system include
the cerebrum, cerebellum, brainstem, pituitary
gland and hypothalamus. - Your brain cant do it alone! It needs nerves
and the spinal cord. The spinal cord and nerves
let messages flow back and forth between the
brain and body.
