Our Mission

• Buurtwerk organises and supports on the
  neighborhood-orierented social and cultural
  activities, with the main goal that both young
  and old can participate in their own neighborhood
  and that they matter.
• Buurtwerk stimulates on active participation in
  society and promotes social relationships.
• Buurtwerk wants to contribute on the wellbeing of
  people and on the viability of the society and
  also wants to prevent or reduce social backlogs
  and other problems.

Welcome to the youth/social cultural work of
het Oude NoordenWe believe in equal chances and
possibilities for all children and young people

• We work
• Inhouse providing accomodation for children and
  youngsters in the age of 6 to 18.
• On the streets and in the neighborhood in the
  age up to 23
• Individual counselling to help youngsters in the
  age 16 to 23 with no education and/or job get
  back to school/work
• Schoolcounselling Project to increase resilience
  in children in the age 10 to 14.
• Women work for all women with the need to develop
  themselves
