How did we get in this situation?

1. Reduced federal funding in the areas of
   educational jobs and technology
2. Reduced state funding to public schools and the
   Texas State Library (19.8 million to 7.2 million
   reducing staff and eliminating critical programs
   including electronic databases)
3. Reallocation of limited funds at the local level

What are your plans, goals, and priorities?
Where are you now? How valuable are you? What
are your sources of data? Can you get to where
you want to be with where you are now with
limited resources? What needs to change?
