Research Goals

• To document the tools used and the textiles
  produced by Louisiana Acadians in the nineteenth
  and early twentieth centuries
• To provide a better understanding of the culture,
  heritage and history of the Acadians in South
  Louisiana

  clothing three additional graduate students and
  two undergraduate students have been involved in
  this research
