• Plates pulling apart. New land formed when
  magma is forced up toward the surface.

Collision Boundary (Convergent)

• Two plates collide and push up to form mountain
  ranges.

Slide Boundary (Transform)

• Where two plates slide past each other causing
  earthquakes. Can be moving in same or different
  directions.

• Where oceanic and continental plates collide.
  Denser Oceanic plates slide under less dense
  continental plates. Friction between plates
  causes rock to melt leading to volcanic activity.
