• 60 of those days reserved for each parent
• Child ages 1-5 placed in public day-care facility

• Tax-funded dental care up to age 20
• Tax-funded education for all levels up to
  including universities
• High schools offer both a traditional diploma a
  vocational diploma
• Sounds good eh? Whats the catch?

  industrialized world
• Municipal income tax of 30
• High-income state tax of 20-25
• Employing companies pay an additional 32
  employer fee
• 18-25 tax is added to most purchases

• 6 tax on books transportation
• Additional taxes are added to electricity, gas,
  alcohol

So What are the Pros/Cons of Socialism?

• Pros
• Evens out society
• Establishes good habits that will pay off later
  (i.e. going to dentist)
• Looks to fix problem before it happens (unlike
  capitalism)
• Focus on education-offers vocation for
  non-college students
• More productive work force (child-care)
• Offers safety net for risk-taking

• Cons
• HIGH tax rates!!!
• Large degree of government involvement
• Those on the right side of the spectrum wish to
  pay fewer taxes
• Takes away drive to work hard. . . Too much of a
  safety net?
