2The Mid-County Service Center was established in
1978 to serve Wheaton, Kemp Mill, Aspen Hill,
Glenmont, Layhill, and Kensington and was further
expanded in 1990 to include Norbeck, Olney, Sandy
Spring, Upper Rock Creek, and Brookeville. The
Center links the 222,491 residents and businesses
with the Montgomery County Maryland governmental
departments and agencies.
