• - contact veteran early and regularly

  elderly veterans

• --- beware of distractions on wall, phone
  ringing, etc.
• -- may also be by phone or e-mail due to
  travel or health
• - explain clearly to veteran each step you
  take
• Expectations
• - very disappointing when students drop out
  of project
• - courteous, prepared, prompt
