Affirmative Tú Commands

• To tell someone who is your familiar what to do,
  simply put the verb in the 3rd person present
  tense.
• Ejemplo Marta, abre el libro. --- Marta, open
  the book.
• There are 9 verbs which have irregular tú command
  conjugations.
• 6 of the verbs are put in there yo form and
  then the go is dropped,
• leaving an affirmative tú command.

Infinitive yo form Command

tener tengo ten
decir digo di
salir salgo sal
venir vengo ven
mantener mantengo mantén
hacer, ser, and ir have completely irregular tú
command forms that must be memorized
hacer haz
ser sé
ir ve
Pronouns are attached to the end of the command.
If there is more than one vowel in the command
place an accent mark on the second to last vowel
of the command to keep the stressed sound the
same. Ejemplos Dime. --- Tell me. Hazlo. --- Do
it. Cómela. --- Eat it.
