9- Propaganda can be as blatant as a swastika or as
subtle as a humorous joke. Its persuasive
techniques are regularly applied by politicians,
advertisers, journalists, radio personalities,
and others who are interested in influencing how
humans behave Propagandistic messages can be used
to accomplish positive social ends, as in
campaigns to reduce drunk driving, to win
elections, and cause people to hate others.

which suggests a link between Hitler and God.

advocate towards the positive side of the social
issue. Do not use this project to promote
anything illegal. If you are unsure if your idea
is relevant ask Ms.Lock.
18REQUIREMENTS
- The target audience is the students and staff of
WKC. - Use at least two of the persuasive devices
mentioned. - Use color and images that have an impact on the
viewer. - Use any media you would like, but it MUST BE IN
COLOUR. - The size must 11x17 in size.
19Grading Criteria
- Your grade will be determined by the overall
design and whether you have met all the criteria
listed in the rubric. - There is evidence that you used the persuasive
device to capture the attention of your audience.
- You demonstrated a mastery of suggestion by your
word choices or other alliteration devices. - Evidence in effort, forethought and planning.
- Total mark will be out of 50 marks
