Determined by System Administrator, possible
conditions could include
Orders selected TO BE CALLED in Order Entry
window (Check box is checked).
- Specimens selected TO BE CALLED in Result Entry
window (Check box is checked). - All tests with PANIC results.
- Specific predefined individual tests that MUST be
called regardless of result value, e.g., PROT and
APTT. - Tests that are selected life threatening or other
criteria under RBS Setup. - All orders with Stat priority.
- All orders that contain abnormal, low, or high
results and that are selected as pre-op under - Wards/Clinics setup.

- Doctor
- This field displays the doctor ID.
- Enter a doctor ID to include only results
associated with the specified doctor in the call
list. - Click the arrow button (or press F2) to select
from a list of predefined doctors.

- Reg/Depot
- Displays the region or depot code.
- Enter a region or depot code to include only
results associated with the specified
region/depot in the call list. - Click the arrow button (or press F2) to select
from a list of predefined codes.

- All Inpatient Calls
- Click this check box to qualify all inpatient
orders on the Call List. - Inpatient calls are sorted by the patient's
Ward/Clinic. - Orders for one patient are grouped together.

- All Outpatient Calls
- Click this check box to qualify all outpatient
orders on the Call List.
- Predefined test Calls
- Click this check box to qualify pre-defined
Individual tests (as defined by Hosparams) on the
Call List.

- Life threatening
- Click this check box to qualify orders with life
threatening results (as defined under RBS Setup)
on the Call List.
- Panic results
- Click this check box to qualify orders with at
least one panic result on the Call List.

- Stat orders
- Click this check box to qualify orders with a
Stat priority on the Call List.

- Click this check box to qualify orders for

setup file.

- Include calls from or last day(s)
- These options enable you to define calls
received since a specific date, or within a set
number of calendar days. - Use the drop-down menus to populate these fields
OR may be defaulted by Hosparam.

- Delete Test Button (F8)
- The Delete Test button enables you to delete
test for a particular session. - To delete tests for a particular session click
Del. test F8, or press F8 and only tests which
are now listed will qualify.
- Defaults (F9)
- The Defaults button enables you to restore your
defaults.

- Search F12
- The Search button enables you to search for call
requests. After you enter all applicable search
criteria, click Search or press F12 to display
the Results tab. - This tab contains information about how many
orders qualified for each condition you specified.

- Call Info - This check box displays the
condition, which qualified the order to be called
(e.g., Preop, Marked, Specimen, Stat, Panic,
Threat).
- Doctor - This field displays the doctor ID, last
and first name, phone number, and extension
number. - Ward - This field displays the Clinic ID,
location, phone number, and extension number. - Call Comm - This field displays a free-text
comment.

- Call Information
- Called - This check box displays if the call has
been completed. Select the check box or press the
spacebar if the call has been completed, or clear
the check box if the call has not been completed. - Person/Msg - Click the arrow button (or press
F2) to display a list of available codes or enter
a free text message. Select an appropriate code
to insert in this field. This field can be used
for confirmation purposes (e.g., the person with
whom you spoke).

- Cancel Call - The Cancel Call button enables you
to cancel the current call. - To cancel the current call, click the Cancel
Call button or press ALT N.

- Order Comm - The Order Comm button enables you
to add or view an order comment. - Click Order Comm.
- The Order Comm window displays to enable you to
enter a free-text comment or canned message. - If a comment already exists for this stay
record, a check mark displays on the Order Comm
button.

- Instructions - This button enables you to access
the special calling instructions. - Depending on the setup, this instruction window
