• The above formula is how you can convert from
  Fahrenheit to Celsius.
• In this class we do not convert from F to C, we
  just use Celsius for all measurements.
• That is why you should know some common
  measurements in Celsius.

How did it all start?

• The Celsius scale was established based upon
  water.
• Anders Celsius established two fixed points for
  his thermometer, the freezing point of water and
  the boiling point of water.

Helpful hints

• Remember that the thermometers in science class
  will be Celsius thermometers.
