  • This is an introductory presentation to the
    Holocaust

  • The whole class will be in the computer lab
  • Individually, each student will go through the
    presentation at his or her own computer with
    headphones on.

Objectives
Students will have ten minutes to take a short
quiz by himself/herself to show that they have
learned the material by getting eight out of ten
questions correct.

The White Rose was a resistance group in Nazi
Germany, consisting of several students and a
teacher from the University of Munich. Many were
arrested and executed for handing out leaflets
that opposed the Nazis.

  • The Allied troops moved across Europe in a series
    of offensives against Nazi Germany.
  • In the process, they liberated many of the
    concentration camps, where they found prisoners
    suffering from starvation and disease.
