• (Isaiah 3215) till the Spirit is poured upon
  us from on high.
• (Isaiah 443) I will pour out my Spirit on your
  offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.
• (Ezekiel 3627) And I will put my Spirit in you
  and move you to follow my decrees and be careful
  to keep my laws.

Jesus 2nd Coming Acts 220/Joel 231

• (Matthew 2429-30) Jesus said "Immediately
  after the distress of those days "'the sun will
  be darkened, and the moon will not give its
  light 30 They will see the Son of Man coming
  on the clouds of the sky, with power and great
  glory.
• (Revelation 612-13) I watched as he opened the
  sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun
  turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair,
  the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the
  stars in the sky fell to earth

Our Sin Problem

• (John 167-9) Unless I go away, the Counselor
  (the Holy Spirit) will not come to you but if I
  go, I will send him to you. 8 When he (the Holy
  Spirit) comes, he will convict the world of guilt
  in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment
  9 in regard to sin, because men do not believe
  in me
• POINT We cant receive salvation from Christ
  unless we admit our sin was why Christ had to
  die.

• (1 Peter 224) He himself bore our sins in his
  body on the tree, so that we might die to sins
  and live for righteousness.
• (1 Peter 318) For Christ died for sins once for
  all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring
  you to God. He was put to death in the body but
  made alive by the Spirit,
