  • Humid Subtropical Humid through most of the year
    and we see quite a lot of rain
  • This climate affects a number of things
  • Peoples movement- Snow birds coming south for
    year round activities (golf, fishing, the beach)
  • Warmer climate also affected the growth of cotton
    and turned MS into an important cotton producing
    state
