Advantages of a website
  • the line of thought still can be a tree or
    matrix,
  • storing sidelines of thought in links,
  • finding a personal main line gradually,
  • keeping valuable associations at hand,
  • including drawings and animations in color,
  • clarifying sequences and layers of thought better
    than words,
  • doing justice to the requirements of design,
  • easy to change real time,
  • even in its thought structure

The challenge of publishing

  • suitable for applications after graduation
  • giving a more complete image of the student,
  • and his or her context,
  • stimulating by itself to give proper account to a
    worldwide audience,
  • a transferable reflection at the personal
    portfolio,
  • with some distance to own work,
  • choosing words many target groups should
    understand,
  • avoiding own obscure jargon

Enabling interaction
  • students can learn from each others website,
  • if a critical review of other websites is asked,
  • to stimulate a scientific ability to criticise,
    and eagerness
  • to be criticised by other people than the
    accidental teacher,
  • useful in design exercises,
  • connecting students and teachers,
  • connecting different projects,
  • otherwise unknown to students and teachers,
  • because they are operating separately in
    different projects

  • if, with agreement of the student, the judgement
    is published on the internet in detail,

  • with fast and easy re-examination of parts
